First of all, I would like to apologize for the lack of posts lately! Things have been beyond busy in my life, and by the time I had a few minutes to blog at night, I was asleep before I could even reach for the laptop. (just ask my husband... he heard the snoring!)
So here's a quick update on what I have been up to: We moved recently, (which consumed all my time and left me without internet access for a little while!) so my schedule/routine was completely, well... missing. I was flying by the seat of my pants, not going to the gym (moving boxes is a pretty good workout though) and eating whenever I remembered (or when my husband reminded me to). Needless to say, I was burning more calories than I had time to consume. But I'm happy to announce that my BMI, weight and size remain the same, (holding steady at 136 since May) I am eating more and even have exercise on the schedule again. I am walking/jogging with the double stroller, but it's around the lake we live by, which is 3.5 miles and very hilly... Back to kicking my own a$$, and it's awesome.
For those of you wondering (or have no clue) I still have not had any sugar since December. I still drink 64 ounces of water a day, eat very healthy (fresh fruits and veggies, lean meats and whole grains), and get in all the daily servings that we humans are supposed to consume. I walk with my boys, run around with them, clean my own house, and park a few spots further than I used to. I feel great, and have never been happier with my weight and size.
Okay... Hopefully my old blog followers are updated, and maybe some new ones have an idea of why I write this silly thing. But now I have a question for all of you:
What questions do you have?
What is keeping YOU from living well?
I think that my previous posts have covered many subjects, and I would be happy to reiterate any point I have tried to make. But I know that some of you have questions... and if you have a question, someone else might have the same question!
SO... comment, reply, email, call, or text. I am here to answer, discuss, inspire, and motivate!!!
We have missed you...We made the LEAP of change and just cleared the cabinets (after reading your posts about the 50th time). It has been challenging to say the least...but as you have mentioned, planning planning, planning is the key! Oh and then there is the DISCIPLINE! Boy, is that a doozy!
ReplyDeleteI think what kept me from making the leap, was because I thought maybe I could eat this and this too and I will be fine. However, the scale did not think so and neither did my business suits. And since I REFUSE to buy more suits....something had to give!
What has been your biggest challenges? And how did you overcome them? Where do you get your recipes?
Sang, I am SO proud of you... I have NO doubt that you may have to buy more suits... just a smaller size!
ReplyDeleteI am truly excited for you, and I am here for support, or a kick in the a$$! (should you need it, though I doubt you will!) :)
Good luck!!!
